EVALUATION OF DEGRADATION OF LARGE STEEL STRUCTURE
Degradation of large steel structures used in aerospace, shipping and civil engineering can have catastrophic consequences. Large steel structures are prone to fatigue cumulative damage, especially under the action of natural disasters will exacerbate fatigue damage, resulting in cracking failure caused by fracture collapse. Coercive force parameters of gantry crane beam elements (main girder and support legs) were measured. The dangerous area of the crane was quickly identified, and fatigue degradation degree and the remaining life of the crane were quantitatively evaluated.
